		<description>This is a Vestel T8300 clone which was marketed under 12 other &quot;brand names&quot; besides this Argos exclusive label. As the first approved to carry the Freeview HD sticker - although the Humax reached the market first - it seems to have been discontinued in favour of cheaper boxes coming from China.

Cheaper alternative Vestel T8300 versions you may still find are the Tesco Technica STBHDV2010 (note the V, they did two other verstions, the H and the IS) at £30 (probably all sold out by now) or the Digihome available for £49.99 from the Currys web site for &quot;reserve and collect&quot; or from the John Lewis web site as a Linsar &quot;reduced to clear&quot; at £69.50

The dead giveaway for these clones is the presence of  the 3 buttons on the left of the front panel. There are slight variations in the details of the software and the display may be either red or green.</description>
