I bought one of these from the Tesco Direct on Ebay, (REFURBISHED IT SAID, BUT IT LOOKED BRAND NEW TO ME) price £19.99 with free postage. So impreessed, I bought another one. They both work really well. I have plugged one of them into my broadband router and it picked up an IP address OK buit as one of your previous posts says, if you select an interactiove channel, it re-boots but I think that this will be corrected in future updates. If you read the instruction book, it says that the ethernet port is for future services. So I bought both for less than £20 each including postage and both work fine. They were to replace two other freeview boxees that failed to work after the final retune and analogue switch off. Very impressed with these boxes and the HD picture through an HDMI cable is brilliant. I wouldn’t have risked £100 though as someone earlier was saying that they paid.
Make sure that your box is on auto updates and that you leave it in standby when not using it. Cheers Ron

Bought this item from local Tesco in September 2011. Crashed after a few minutes every time i attempted to watch a HD channel.
Leave the unit in standby for 48 hours. This allows the unit to download the latest software off-air.
Currently this is A3M ST2A-10-0161 (see maual for how to view this on screen)
It has worked well since then. (Software version when bought was A3M-ST2A-10-0133)

A most unsatisfactory product. The remote is sometimes unresponsive, sometimes over enthusiastic so that a press of the channel button 2 switches to channel 22. When switching out of guide the chosen programme takes ages to come up and the screen goes blank.
Worst of all is that it switches itself off every three hours. It only resumes, after an interval, on a press of any remote button. This can be infuriating, as there is NO ONSCREEN WARNING that your programme is going to be cut off. Harvard International, the importer, claims this is to comply with an EEC requirement. The EEC requirement, however, specifies that an onscreen warning should be shown. Their telephone helpline (the email one mentioned in the handbook has been discontinued) was quite rude to me when I called for advice.

The following set top boxes (who can balance a box on their new slim TV?) are thought to be identical and I would advise avoiding them, too.

I have just bought the 320 andupgraded straight to V3.11. As we don’t yet have HD in our area I can only say SD and upscaling is fine. The guide is split into 3 sections and the area at the top has an inset for the current channel and an info screen for each program as you scroll through. If these features were removed I feel the guide would be much quicker. Because the guide is slow it makes the remote controller appear slow. Apart from that it has done what I have ask for a week now.

Anyone else having a problem accessing the High Definition interactive services on Channels 110, 111 and 112 ? When going to any of these channels the STBDIS2100 does a reboot. In doing so the content of Channel Zero is erased which means the box needs to be left on standby for several hours for Channel Zero to be restored.

Brillant bought it for £30 at tesco a few problems at first but once it was updated was a great bit of kit and a bargain

Hi all, well I was prepared to grumble earlier, so to be fair, I have to say that since auto download of version 3 software the box has been much better. Occasionial missing of sound and some very minor irritations but I now feel the improvements made are taking the box in the right direction and almost there. So much so that I bought my Mum an identical one as her old recorder packed up. However, it had V2.5.3 when installed but will not auto download V3 or accept a manual update on it. I’ll be going up there likely in Sept and try my usb memory stick as I know it worked on mine when I dowmload V2.5.3 on my box and see if it works on my mums.

Unit arrived today with STBHDIS2010_0133 firmware. I immediately updated it with STBHDIS2010_0161 on a USB stick downloaded from http://www.ch-zero.tv/support Everything works perfectly with no complaints. From a very satisfied owner.
